Analysis and Design of a Fourth-Order Resonant Immittance Converter Topology

چکیده
Constant-current (CC) power supplies find applications in many fields. The Resonant immittance converters (RICs) convert a voltage source to the current source, thereby render them suitable for its application as a CC power supply. A fourthorder RIC topology, TT44 , is studied in this paper. Detailed steadystate analysis is presented. Procedure to perform converter optimization that leads to closed-form expressions for calculating the component values and ratings is elaborated. The correctness of analysis is validated by developing and testing a laboratory prototype converter.
